BURUNDIAN ANIella UWIMANA SIGNS FOR POLICE WOMEN FC
Burundian women’s footballer Aniella Uwimana has officially signed for Police Women FC of Rwanda, following her departure from Jeddah Ladies of Saudi Arabia, where she had spent some time playing.
Her move to Rwanda has become a major talking point in women’s football, especially among Police Women FC supporters, who are delighted to welcome a player with international experience.
Aniella Uwimana moved to Saudi Arabia with the aim of expanding her knowledge and experience in professional football. At Jeddah Ladies, she had the opportunity to compete in high-level competitions and face players from different countries, which helped her grow both technically and mentally as a professional footballer.
Although her journey in Saudi Arabia came with various challenges, it proved to be a valuable learning experience that strengthened her ability and tactical awareness to compete at a high level.
Before heading to Saudi Arabia, Aniella Uwimana played for Tanzanian clubs Yanga Princess and Fountain Gates, where she showcased her talent in the East African region, earning recognition at the international level.
Signing for Police Women FC is a significant step both for the player herself and for the development of women’s football in Rwanda. The club is known for giving opportunities to talented players and supporting their growth.
Aniella arrives with the ambition of contributing to trophy success, supporting her teammates, and sharing the experience she gained from playing abroad.
