Kayitesi Alodie, widely known by the name Fenkenya, one of Rwanda’s most popular and respected women football players, has officially changed clubs, moving from AS Kigali Women Football Club to Police Women Football Club, a step considered significant in her professional career.

Fenkenya is among the players who have been prominent in Rwandan women’s football for a long time. Throughout her career, she has played for major teams, including Rayon Sports WFC, where she stood out as a talented player with the ability to change the course of a match. She later joined AS Kigali WFC, where she continued to demonstrate experience and commitment on the pitch.

At every club she has played for, Kayitesi Alodie has been known as a determined player, characterized by speed, good technique, and the ability to help her team both by scoring goals and providing assists.

In recent days, Kayitesi Alodie requested to part ways with AS Kigali WFC by mutual agreement, with the aim of further developing her career elsewhere. The club’s management accepted her request, showing respect for her decision and thanking her for the contribution she made during her time with the team.

The separation took place in a positive atmosphere, with both sides expressing that they worked well together and wishing each other success in the future.

After being granted permission, Kayitesi Alodie immediately signed for Police WFC, one of the women’s football teams in Rwanda that is steadily building and strengthening itself.

The management of Police WFC expressed happiness at welcoming the player, viewing her as a valuable addition who will bring strength, experience, and leadership to the team, especially ahead of upcoming competitions such as the league and cup tournaments.

Observers of women’s football are eager to see Kayitesi Alodie make a visible impact at Police WFC, where she is expected to work with her teammates to help the club achieve its objectives, including competing for top positions and performing well in various competitions.
