She-Amavubi Seek Revenge!
Rwanda’s women’s national football team, She-Amavubi, has begun training in Ethiopia as it prepares for the return leg of the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers, which will be held in Los Angeles, United States of America.
After suffering a narrow 1–0 defeat at home against Ethiopia in the first leg, She-Amavubi now faces a tough challenge to turn the tables and keep its Olympic dream alive. The Rwandan side is determined to bounce back and prove that it still has what it takes to fight for victory!
The team has already arrived in Ethiopia and held its first training session at Dire Dawa International Stadium, the venue for the decisive encounter scheduled for Tuesday at 3:00 PM.
She-Amavubi will need to play like lions, showing determination, unity, and a strong hunger for victory. The players must take their chances and avoid costly mistakes if they hope to overcome the deficit and revive Rwanda’s hopes of qualifying for the prestigious global competition.
Meanwhile, Ethiopia will enjoy home advantage and will be looking to protect the 1–0 lead it secured in Rwanda. This sets the stage for a fierce battle in which every pass, every tackle, and every goal-scoring opportunity could make the difference.
Can She-Amavubi settle the score and silence the Ethiopian supporters on their own soil, or will Ethiopia once again prove to be a stumbling block in Rwanda’s Olympic journey?
The answer will be decided on the pitch, where victory is the only result that can reignite the Olympic dream and bring joy to Rwandan women’s football fans!
