RWANDA WOMEN’S SUPER LEAGUE: RAYON SPORTS WFC REMAINS TOP, POLICE WFC TRAIL ON GOAL DIFFERENCE
Rayon Sports WFC continues to sit at the top of the 2025–2026 Rwanda Women’s First Division League standings after Matchday 16 played on February 14–15, 2026. The team is level on points with Police WFC but leads the table due to a superior goal difference.
On February 14, 2026, the action kicked off in style. Nyagatare WFC hosted Inyemera WFC, with the visitors securing a narrow 1–0 victory to strengthen their position in mid-table.
Meanwhile, AS Kigali WFC suffered a 1–0 defeat against APR WFC, with the decisive goal scored by Abimana Laurence, helping APR WFC close the gap on the teams above them.
On February 15, 2026, Macuba WFC hosted Rayon Sports WFC, and the league leaders demonstrated their title ambitions with a 2–0 win. Uwase Andersen opened the scoring in the 34th minute, while Niyonshuti Emmerance sealed the victory in the 82nd minute, earning three crucial points in the title race.
Another eye-catching fixture saw Bugesera WFC fall 4–1 to Police WFC. Kayitesi Alodie netted twice (29’, 48’), Rukia Bizimana added a goal in the 87th minute, and UWIMANA Nella capped off the performance in stoppage time (90+1). The victory brought Police WFC level on 39 points with Rayon Sports WFC, though they remain second due to an inferior goal difference.
In other matches, Kamonyi WFC lost 1–0 to Indahangarwa WFC, with Uwitonze Emmerance scoring the lone goal. The win lifted Indahangarwa WFC to 35 points, keeping their title hopes alive.
Forever WFC drew 1–1 with Muhazi United WFC. Urimubenshi Claudine scored for Forever WFC, while Muhawenimana Hadidja found the net for Muhazi United WFC.

At the bottom of the table, Nyagatare WFC is struggling, having failed to collect a single point after 16 matches a situation that places them in serious danger of relegation.
