MACUBA WFC ENDS SEASON WITH A WIN OVER KAMONYI WFC DESPITE LOWER RANKING

On matchday 22 of the Rwanda Women’s Super League, Macuba WFC defeated Kamonyi WFC 2-1 in a game marked by strong competition and determination from both sides.

Macuba WFC opened the scoring early in the match, but Kamonyi WFC equalized in the second half. However, Macuba WFC managed to score a second goal, securing victory in this final game of the season.

Despite the loss, Kamonyi WFC finished in 5th place with 36 points and 2 goals, while Macuba WFC ended the season in 6th place with 35 points and 2 goals.

The match highlighted the quality and competitiveness of both teams, showing continued growth in women’s football in Rwanda.
