The team Amizero WFC made history in Rwandan women’s football after winning the first-ever Rwanda Women’s Regional League (D3) title, a competition that was held for the very first time in the history of women’s football in the country.

In the highly anticipated final match, Amizero WFC drew 2-2 against Eagles WFC in a thrilling encounter marked by determination, intense competition, and impressive performances from players on both sides.

Although the match ended in a draw, Amizero WFC emerged as champions of the tournament after an outstanding campaign throughout the competition. The club was awarded the trophy along with a cash prize of three million Rwandan Francs.
