JEANNINE MUKANDAYISENGA MOVES TO CHINA AFTER MAKING HISTORY IN TANZANIA
Rwandan striker Jeannine Mukandayisenga, popularly known as Kaboy, has officially begun a new chapter in her football career after signing a two-year contract with Chinese club Beijing Beikong, joining from Yanga Princess of Tanzania.
The move comes after an outstanding 2025/26 season, during which Mukandayisenga established herself as one of the most prolific strikers in East African women's football. She finished as the top scorer in the Tanzanian Women's Premier League, netting 20 goals and earning widespread recognition for her impressive performances.
During her time at Yanga Princess, Mukandayisenga played a crucial role in the team's success. Her consistent goal-scoring ability, determination, and exciting style of play won the hearts of the club's passionate supporters, popularly known as Wananchi.
Before departing for China, Kaboy officially bid farewell to the Yanga Princess faithful. Her farewell came during Yanga SC's championship victory parade, where she took the opportunity to thank the fans, her teammates, and the club's management for their unwavering support throughout her journey in Tanzania.
