ZAINA NAMULEME SIGNS TWO-YEAR DEAL WITH RAYON SPORTS WFC

Rayon Sports Women FC continues strengthening its squad ahead of major competitions

Rayon Sports Women FC has continued its rebuilding project by securing the services of Ugandan international Zaina Namuleme, captain of Uganda Women’s National Team, the Crested Cranes.

Reliable information indicates that Zaina Namuleme has signed a two-year contract with Rayon Sports WFC as the club continues its ambition to build a competitive team capable of challenging at the highest level in the region.

The experienced midfielder joins Rayon Sports from Kenya Police Bullets FC, one of the leading women’s football clubs in Kenya. She is also a key figure for the Uganda national women’s team, where she serves as captain due to her leadership qualities and experience.

After reaching an agreement with the Rwandan club, Zaina Namuleme has already arrived in Rwanda and has spent about a week in the country, while completing the remaining formalities before officially beginning training with her new teammates.

Her arrival is expected to bring valuable experience to Rayon Sports Women FC, having competed in different competitions in Kenya and at international level with the Crested Cranes. Her leadership skills on and off the pitch are among the qualities that made her an important addition to the club.

The signing of Namuleme comes as Rayon Sports WFC continues preparations for upcoming challenges, especially the CECAFA Women’s Club Championship, where the club aims to represent Rwanda strongly and compete against some of the best teams in the East African region.

In recent weeks, Rayon Sports Women FC has continued to strengthen its squad by adding new players and making strategic changes aimed at improving the team’s performance in domestic and international competitions.

The club’s supporters have welcomed the news positively, expressing their excitement about the arrival of an experienced player like Zaina Namuleme and believing she can play a key role in helping Rayon Sports achieve its ambitions this season.
