FERWAFA Prepares Major Changes in Women’s Football
The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has launched a workshop aimed at improving the governance, administration, and overall development of women’s football clubs in Rwanda.
Held in partnership with FIFA, the workshop seeks to strengthen the knowledge and skills of club officials, improve management practices, and build a strong foundation for the long-term sustainability of women’s football clubs.
FERWAFA Acting President Claudine Gasarabwe officially opened the workshop, while FIFA specialist José Andrés Portabella from the Netherlands is leading the technical sessions.
The workshop comes at a time when women’s football in Rwanda continues to grow, with clubs and players increasingly making their mark in different competitions. It could mark the beginning of a new chapter for women’s football in Rwanda, with stronger management and greater ambitions for the future. ⚽🇷🇼
