FERWAFA
Today marked a remarkable moment for Rwandan school football as FERWAFA’s Commissioner in charge of Legal and Governance, Madame Louise Ndengeyingoma, met with the U15 girls’ team ahead of their participation in the CAF African Schools Championship in Kampala.
In a heartfelt and inspiring address, Madame Ndengeyingoma reminded the young girls that wearing the national flag is not just a uniform, but a symbol of honor, a sign that the entire nation stands behind them. She encouraged them to study diligently, train with determination, play with discipline, and rise with purpose.
In her moving message, she said:
“You carry the flag in your heart and in your character. Continue to build yourselves. We stand behind you, fully and proudly.”
With bright eyes full of hope and confidence, the young players expressed their readiness to represent their country on the international stage with pride and integrity.
The team is scheduled to depart for Kampala, Uganda, on December 4th for the 2026 CAF African Schools
Championship CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers set to take place from December 6–9, 2025.
Their journey begins now a journey filled with promise, determination, and the unwavering spirit of Rwanda’s future champions.
